You've probably heard of Black Friday and Cyber Monday but What's #Giving Tuesday?
What's giving Tuesday?
Giving Tuesday is a Global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world. Created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good - it has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. Every act of generosity counts and everyone has something to give.

We ask for your help just once a year during the Thanksgiving season. It is your generosity that makes it possible for us to fulfill our mission of preserving our historic site, while bringing to the public programs of the highest quality. It is your generosity that will permit us to go forward into 2020 with more programs. There's something about that warm feeling that friends and neighbors tell us they have when they gather in the reception room before a performance or at intermission that, for us, is also at the heart of who we are and why we ask for your generosity. It's that feeling of community for which we are all so grateful. We look forward to your donation, however big or small, which will help us to continue to live up to and build on our mission: bringing tradition, the arts and community together in Putnam Valley, New York.
