Purpose - This is a somewhat hidden page that will come down soon. It's sole purpose is to give our handful of TCCC poets a chance to view ahead of the exhibit and before the next opportunity to view at the Aug 14th Poets' Corners Open Mic with Ken Holland event at TCCC.
POETS ~ PLEASE REPLY to items in Pink by Aug 15th
Poetry Due Date - The poetry in response to the images below is due on Aug 18th to be sent to info@tompkinscorners.org with OW Poetry (Ordinary Wonders) as the subject. Only 30 minutes of poetry can be read at the Aug 20th opening reception but we'd like ALL the poetry to be available in printed form to read at ones' leisure in the gallery. This combination of Poetry and Visual Art will be the first of its kind at TCCC bringing 2 wonderful audiences together in our community. We are thrilled to have you be a part of it!
Poets ~ Can you attend the Aug 20th 1:00-3:30 Artist Reception to read your work? If you cannot attend, may we print and have your poems available at the reception? Please understand that this is primarily an Artist's Reception. 30 minutes of poetry reflecting her work will begin at 2:00. That means if all the poems were 4 minutes, we'd have time for just 7 (and 1/2) poems to be read aloud. So, we will be selecting just a few. IF YOU ARE PLANNING on attending, please let us know. We may ask you to read work of others' who cannot attend, as well as your own.
PLEASE know that that these images are not to be saved, shared or reproduced in any fashion whatsoever upon the artists request. They are her intellectual property. Most of these photos will be for sale at the show. CLICK ON THE IMAGES TO see them full scale and to see the titles.
