Watercolor Classes

ONLINE Painting Session


This Spring, Tompkins Corners Cultural Center will again present “The Magic of Watercolor Painting” ONLINE, with instructor, Anne Johann, well known Hudson Valley watercolorist and experienced watercolor teacher. Students of all levels are invited to explore this fascinating painting medium as they learn a range of techniques including basic, variegated, and graded washes. They will be helped to develop their own unique vision as they acquire or strengthen their understanding of color, composition, and building value through successive washes. Demonstrations will be given and examples from masters shown. Students may paint from their own or our instructor’s photographs, or their own sketches as references. Class size is limited, and one-on-one instruction is provided.
