Support the Heart of Putnam Valley
Approaching our historic site from a bucolic country road, you immediately feel it: a warm, welcoming, and intimate vibe. From the friendly volunteers who greet you to the homemade refreshments, Tompkins Corners isn’t just a destination—it’s a home for the spirit.
Why Your Support Matters
As the preeminent arts organization in Putnam Valley, Tompkins Corners provides a vital lifeline for local culture. More than hosting performances, we weave the fabric of our community together through:
Local Art & Music: We provide a professional stage for local musicians, playwrights, and poets, including our dedicated gallery honoring our founding president, Maaike Hoekstra.
Community Partnerships: We host a weekly Farmers Market all summer, supporting local vendors and musicians, and collaborate with local food banks to ensure no neighbor is left behind.
A Greener Future: We are a resource for climate action. Through partnerships with the Town of Putnam Valley, Climate Smart NY, Sustainable Putnam, the Hudson River Sloop Clearwater, the Beacon River Pool, and the Roaring Brook Garden Club, we host climate-related events and support community clean-ups.
Help Us Preserve the Past and Build the Future
We lovingly maintain our 130-year-old historic church and 140-year-old Carriage House, and to keep these doors open for the next generation, we need you.
Whether it’s $10 or $1,000, your tax-deductible donation ensures that Putnam Valley remains a place where tradition, the arts, and environmental stewardship thrive side-by-side.
Thank you!
Tompkins Corners Cultural Center is a 501(c)(3) public charity organization. Contributions are fully tax deductible.
