"Nature: Pushing It!"


“Nature: Pushing It!” Tompkins Corner's online photo exhibit Showing  from Monday, August 3rd - Sept 4th 2020

Tompkins Corners Cultural Center is pleased to present our invitational photography exhibit, “Nature: Pushing It!”, the second online exhibit of the summer. Curated by photographer Will Cook, the exhibit will present the work of thirteen accomplished photographers who were invited to capture nature “beyond the lens”, using both traditional and modern cutting edge technology to present a fresh vision of nature.  More about the photographers HERE

Vote! Throughout the exhibit, viewers will be asked to vote online for Best in Show. At the close of the exhibit, the Anne Anastasi Art Award of $100 will be given for the work receiving the highest number of votes. A Curator's Choice award of $50 will also be presented.

About our Curator:
Curator Will Cook’s critically acclaimed photographs are known for his dramatic use of light and composition, and his innovative use of materials. His photos have been published nationally and internationally with his work published in several magazines such as Architectural Digest, Hook, Daily Telegraph, and more.  More about Will HERE.

The TCCC Visual Arts Committee is so excited to share the winners of our latest online art exhibit!  An Anne Anastasi Visual Arts Prize of $100 has been awarded to the artist whose work was voted "Best in Show" by our online gallery guests. The winner is Robin Zimmerman with her image, "Fearless."  Our Curator's Choice award of $50 has been awarded to Liz Okon for her image of  "Stormy Stallions."  Congratulations to the winners, thanks to all who participated, and thanks to all who voted.   You can view our exhibit  HERE.
