Learn to Paint Outdoors with Anne Johann

Starting on Tuesday, September 10th and continuing each week on Tuesday for a total of six classes, from 1:00 to 3:30 pm, Anne Johann will instruct participants on how to paint outdoors at several of her favorite scenic locations throughout the Hudson Valley.

All skill levels and painting media are welcome: watercolor, oil, pastel, drawing. Class size is limited to provide maximum individual instruction, so pre-registration is required. In case of rain, classes will take place at the TCCC gallery or in our historic outdoor “Arts Shed.”

Anne Johann, a well-known landscape painter, has been teaching art and exhibiting her work for decades.  Her work and gallery representation can be viewed at annejohannfineart.

Space is limited, so early registration is advised.  Fee is $185, payable to Tompkins Corners Cultural Center.  For more information, or to register, email Kate Hoekstra at yankate2@optonline.net or info@tompkinscorners.org

This class follows our recent watercolor class which was a wonderful success.  Participants’ work from both classes will be presented in an exhibit at TCCC in the Fall.

The TCCC Visual Arts programs are made possible by a grant from the Anne Anastasi Charitable Foundation.
